In 2012, our journey began with the establishment of Barrowford Pet Store by the passionate and dedicated Alison. With over 12 years of professional experience in the pet industry, Alison devoted her life to the well-being of animals and their owners. On a personal note, Alison, shares her home with five cherished pets, embodying her profound love for animals.

As well as seeing Alison in the shop, we can't forget Diane, the vibrant and friendly member of our team. Diane's bubbly personality and genuine love for animals bring an extra layer of warmth to the Wags and Whiskers experience. Her dedication and passion make her an invaluable part of our pet-loving family.

In 2023, we took a bold step forward by relocating to Colne and rebranded as Wags & Whiskers. Alison's leadership continues to shape our values, ensuring that every pet that graces our establishment receives the attention, products, and care they deserve.

We take immense pride in being active members of Colne BID, contributing to the vibrant and thriving local community. This affiliation reflects our commitment to the growth and prosperity of Colne, as we work hand in hand with fellow businesses to create a welcoming environment for all.
